TERI – ENVIS Centre on Renewable Energy and Environment TERI has been hosting the ENVIS Centre on Renewable Energy and Environment since July 1984. The major objectives of the Centre are collection and dissemination of information in order to support and promote research, development and innovation in environmental information technology. TERI has also been hosting the EMCB (Environmental Capacity Building) Node on Renewable Energy and Environment since 2000-01, an ENVIS sub-component. The objective of the EMCB node is to build capacity in India through development and maintenance of a web site as an information clearinghouse for the identified sector. Contact : envis@teri.res.in
