Descripition:
The instrument has 16
items to be responded on a 4 point scale ranging form strongly agree to
strongly disagree. The scale measures 3 dimensions of teacher efficiency
such as attitude toward teaching, consideration, and involvement with
teaching. Reliability:Split-half reliability was calculated using
spearman-brown prophecy formula on a sample of 302 higher secondary school
teachers. The reliability coefficient was 0.74. Validity:Content validity
was established by the response of a panel of 22 judges (experts in
psychology and education). Then factor analysis was employed to assure the
validity. It was found to be a valid scale. Prospective Users:
Educational administrators (ICSE, NCERT, SCERT, NIEPA)Principals and
teachers of higher secondary schools. Keywords:
