Descripition:
The basic principle of this solar water heater is that if our overhead water tank is covered with transparent insulation such a material that allows solar radiations to pass but prevents heat to escape, then solar energy will get accumulated in the tank in the form of hot water usable in domestic, industrial and other sectors. At CES, IIT Delhi, we have developed such a material and have patented the water heater in more than one configuration.
